Anglicare is a not-for-profit organisation established by the Anglican church. We have 160 years of community service and 70 years’ experience in seniors’ living. As a Christian organisation, we strive to create supportive communities where all can flourish, providing accommodation and support for senior Australians in 22 retirement villages across Sydney and the Illawarra.
We are proud to serve those in need, enrich lives and share the love of Jesus. Through His love, we uphold the values of integrity, justice, kindness and excellence. Anglicare’s philosophy of life-enriching care and compassion for all is evident throughout Woolooware Shores.
A Christian-based community – open to everyone
Woolooware Shores welcomes people of all backgrounds with our Chaplain offering support for our whole community. Those residents who are seeking to grow their Christian faith are supported through chapel services, fellowship groups and pastoral care.
Health and vitality
Our Vitality Program delivered by specialist on-site staff, will enhance your health and wellbeing through a variety of wellness services and activities, such as fitness classes, musical and craft groups.
If there comes a time when you need support at home, we can provide services to help you continue to live independently. And on-site residential aged care provides peace of mind if your needs change in the future.
Additional support and care, if you need it
Anglicare offers domestic, personal and nursing services, to sustain you living in your own apartment. If you’re recovering after a hospital stay, need some help with showering or medications, or simply with shopping, Anglicare is here to assist you in finding the right support for your needs.
Depending on your circumstances, you may be eligible to have Anglicare At Home either partly or fully subsidised through the Commonwealth Home Support Program (CHSP) or the Home Care Package Program.
